Is This Love is a power ballad by the English rock band Whitesnake. The song is taken from their self-titled album, which released in 1987. The song was written by vocalist David Coverdale and guitarist John Sykes during the albums early writing process (which took place in the south of France), but it was long rumoured that the song had originally been written for rock artist Tina Turner.
