Emperor - Live Inferno

Live Inferno is the final release from the Symphonic Black Metal band Emperor. It was filmed during the band’s sold out 2005-2007 reunion performances. It was released in Europe on the 20th of April with several editions available.

The audio portion of the "Live Inferno" series features exclusive recordings from the band's headlining performances at Norway's Inferno festival and Germany's Wacken Open Air festival. The video portion, titled "Live at Wacken Open Air 2006 - A Night Of Emperial Wrath", has a running time of 70 minutes and includes footage professionally filmed at the Wacken Open Air festival with additional on-stage and exclusive backstage footage filmed and compiled by the band.

Guitarist Greg Burgess:  "The 1.618 video is quite a departure from what Allegaeon has done in the past. For our music, lyrically speaking; it's been really hard for us to come up with story lines to capture what Ezra was singing about. So in the end we always ended up just having performance videos. This video is more like us hanging out and having fun, a reflection of our personalities, and well... poking fun at ourselves for the lack of success we've had with the music video medium."

Ezra Haynes comments on the song lyrics: "1.618 is also known as The Golden Ratio. This impossible to avoid number occurs in nature, music, design and architecture. It's a fun subject to research because it is literally everywhere."

Gorgoroth - Carving a Giant

The Norwegian Black Metal Band Gorgoroth presents this video track "Carving a Giant", it is a recreation of the controversial Kraków performance live of February 1, 2004, during a concert being recorded for a DVD in Kraków, Poland, the band displayed sheep heads on stakes, a bloodbath of 80 litres of sheep's blood, Satanic symbols, and four naked crucified models on stage. A police investigation took place with allegations of religious offence (which is prosecutable under Polish law) and cruelty to animals.
